The SlideMinder Slope Monitoring & Warning System was developed in 2003 by engineers and geologists at the consulting firm Call & Nicholas, Inc. to provide clients with a reliable, affordable, and easy-to-use slope monitoring alternative.

With hundreds of units deployed to date, SlideMinders are reporting the critical data needed for Engineering Design and Operational Safety at locations around the world.

  • SLOPE MOVEMENT ANALYSIS: Software displays measurements and graphs displacement, velocity and system data.

  • ACCURATE REAL-TIME MEASUREMENTS: Measures movement to 0.01cm and monitors throughout slope failure without damage to the extensometer.

  • AUTOMATED WARNINGS & ALARMS: On-site warning beacons, automated text and email alerts.

  • PRECIPITATION MEASUREMENT: Mounted rain gauge records precipitation at the monitoring location.

  • MINIMAL SITE PREP: Small tripod footprint with no required line power.

  • SCALABLE: Start with as little as one extensometer and add more as needed. Additional units are easily added after initial server setup.
