Built in Tucson, Arizona, SlideMinders are deployed worldwide in a variety of diverse and often harsh conditions. Self-contained, self-charging, self-reporting and easily deployed, SlideMinders gather and report critical data remotely using radio and/or local Wi-Fi networks to a local server for analysis and warning evaluation.  SlideMinders can be easily added to the network and controlled using our proprietary web-based server software, called OREAD, which is included with the initial order of SlideMinder extensometers.

OBSERVATION, RECORDING, EVALUATION & ADMINISTRATIVE DATABASE (OREAD)

The SlideMinder Slope Monitoring & Warning System works using our proprietary server software, OREAD. Easy to use and reliable, OREAD uses an intuitive graphical user interface. The Web-Based design allows easy access for authorized users from multiple locations. 

Easily graph the following.

  • Inverse Velocity

  • Battery Voltage and Recharge

  • Temperature

  • Precipitation

 

 

OREAD is also where users set and edit Alarms.  Alarms are designed to activate warning devices, if desired, send out emails or text messages to appropriate personnel when specified slope displacement and/or velocities are exceeded. OREAD is included and installed with the initial SlideMinder installation.
