  • ExtensBase program controls extensometer on preset transmissions.
  • Extensometer transmits movement data to ExtensBase on continuous basis.
  • ExtensBase relays data to database.
  • ExtensMon program compiles database, graphs data, and checks movement criteria based on warning notification protocol. If warranted, it sends a signal to activate warning devices, and sends warning messages to equipment control office, designated engineer, and other personnel.
  • Base station transmits radio signal to activate warning devices -- strobe lights and sirens.
  • Equipment Control notifies equipment operators to stop operation in critical area being monitored.
  • Engineer reviews movement data with ExtensMon program.
  • Engineer calls Equipment Control, discusses situation, and sets interim operational procedures.
FEATURES
  • System
  • Stand alone system -- operates independently from existing equipment control systems.
  • Configuration can be customized to meet the specific needs of the client.
  • Extensometer
  • Enhances safety with real time monitoring.
